The Del-York Group recently hosted a special invitation dinner in honor of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, September 5th, 2022, at the grand ballroom of the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington DC, U.S.A
Themed “Investment Opportunities in Lagos, Africa’s Largest Economy”, the event had in attendance the Founder of Del-York Group, Mr. Linus Idahosa, dignitaries, commissioners, key stakeholders and high-level international investors that engaged in a meeting with the Lagos State Governor on the creative and entertainment industries.

A major highlight of the evening was the deep-level discussion around the ongoing development of the Lagos Film City project. The discussion had the stakeholders delving into the important issues of partnerships, collaborations and investment opportunities across the development timeline of the project.
The world-class Lagos Film City is a first-of-its-kind project in Nigeria that promises to situate Lagos as the hub of creativity and entertainment on the African continent. In addition to ultramodern sound stages, film studios and theme parks, the Film City will also serve as a beacon of hope for African creatives and a place where they can finally express and actualize themselves through art & creativity.
