The DCA: ‘Women in Animation and Post-Production Scholarship offers to train Nigerian women creatives in the field of 3D Animation and Post-Production while developing a curriculum for Collegiate level applied media studies to be digitally shared all over Africa.

This will demonstrate that African women can excel in 3D Animation and Post-Production proving to the government of Nigeria – and other African governments – that the creative industry is a worthwhile field to invest in and to be developed and cultivated as a lucrative professional field.

Women In Animation and Post-Production Class of 2021 Showcase is a special Scholarship programme is an on-campus program that aims to virtually recreate the opportunities that are missing for women talent and for the industry during this time. This will provide a platform for talented women in animation and post-production to be seen by animation powerhouses and recruiters, hiring managers, agents and studio executives, making important connections for promising new talent.
