4 WEEKS PROGRAM

Colorists play an integral role in ensuring that the visual integrity of a film is maintained. They are responsible for maintaining consistency throughout a project by ensuring that all shots in each scene match one another.

COURSE CONTENT

This course explores how the art of colour grading enhances storytelling.

Students gain a greater understanding of the intricacies and components of photographed images and learn to reshape them using colour grading techniques. How to balance colour saturation and luminance from shot to shot.

COURSE OUTCOME

At the end of the workshop, students will have gained a working knowledge of colour theory and are able to successfully use colour creatively to impact the mood and feel of a scene.
