DIGITAL FILMMAKING (ONLINE COURSE)

4 WEEKS PROGRAM

Students learn the fundamentals of digital video and audio recording. This course teaches the practical aspects of digital filmmaking and helps the student build upon the foundations of film theory and apply it to an experiential learning environment with the support of peers. Students will develop an understanding of the creative use of sound, camera and post-production techniques for their own film projects.

COURSE OUTCOME

At the end of the course, students will be able to utilize the latest digital technology available to today’s media developers and learn how to create professional content for broadcast television, digital media, mobile apps, independent films and more.

REQUIREMENTS

It is recommended that students have a laptop or smartphone, that enables video and sound conferencing, with a moderate internet connection for this course.

During the course, students will simulate real-life practical situations and get personalized feedback on their work. Written exercises and interactive discussion boards/chats will assist students with their studies. By viewing videos, students can analyze the communication techniques of professionals.
