August 25, 2021- Today is his birthday, a wonderful day to celebrate an exceptional leader with a heart of gold and the astute mind of a creative industry genius, Mr Linus Idahosa, the President and Founder of Del-York International and Del-York Creative Academy.
The man, Mr Linus, is a charismatic reformative leader with a deep understanding of strategic communications, public relations, advertising and foreign policy. As a father figure to over ten thousand creative students and industry practitioners, including staff and affiliates, Linus has shown many the ropes of business development & creative sustenance for both the creative industry & other business sectors in the African market for over a decade.
A critical thinker, a mover and shaker who shuns the spotlight and prefers to work surreptitiously from behind the scenes to achieve the impossible. He’s very well-connected in closed elite circles globally and is a communications expert skilled at identifying and implementing lucrative opportunities across various sectors.
Linus Idahosa is generally known and loved by Africa’s growing reformative creative industry and foreign film studios for his truly inspirational work as the founder/President of Del-York Creative Academy (DCA), a creative industry capacity-building institution operating out of Lagos, Nigeria, in partnership with several International Studios & partners.
His Company, Del-York International (DYI) , is a strategic communications company responsible for major brands operating in Nigeria and across the globe. The Company was the official PR and Branding partner of the recently concluded 21st Olu of Warri Coronation of His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III.
Other important brands whose brief his company currently handles include The Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (MAN), Chinese automaker and fortune 500 company GAC Motors , world-renowned environmentally friendly Air conditioner manufacturer GREE Air Conditioners, Lontor Hi-tech, among others.
His company has also recently concluded collaboration agreements with international cohorts like Huffine Global Solutions with whom they intend to implement a number of infrastructure projects across Nigeria.
Linus has been hosted by several African Presidents and world leaders, including HRM Queen of England and members of the US Government, he holds two honorary doctorate degrees from the prestigious London Graduate School (Albion College) and the University of Belize.
